Pencil Test Satellite

CTP Pencil Test Satellite provides and easy, fast and flexible way to check your rough or clean animations. Edit the classical animation exposure sheet interactively or by means of the available keyboard shortcuts. Import images from any source, be it camera, scanner or image files. Use its special camera filters to achieve excellent line-test results. Add sound for simple and perfect animation synchronization.

Over 100 layers of animation or audio information can be customized to match any exposure sheet requirements. All this information can be composited and played back at real-time. You can even output Quicktime or AVI files to send your work through the Internet or on any removable media for anyone to check, no matter how far they may be. Video ouput is available anytime to record the line-test when editing is finished.

Once the line-test is completed you don't need to retype the exposure sheet after scanning your final artwork, just use the Reload from Storage option to replace all the rough drawings with the new clean line drawings!

Scan Satellite

Scan and cleanup full sequences of images in a single automated step. Even single sheet scanning can be performed with minimum human interaction with the automated sequence mode. Just setup the amount of images to scan, the amount of time required between each scan and you only have to worry about changing each paper. Audio feedback is available to guide you whenever a paper change is required.

Set cleanup parameters interactively for optimum cleanup results. Automatic registration is available for images imported from any source. Input resolution is configurable to make sure you always get the best quality for your animations, even with deep camera zooms. Special scanner filters guarantee perfect lines always.

A black & white high resolution optimized mode is available to obtain maximum throughput from high speed scanners.

Paint Satellite

The Paint Satellite provides you with fast and easy tools to paint your animations efficiently. Use the multi-layer paint system to get instant feedback of your painted drawings and any other required layers. No more need to make slow previews to check your artwork. Real-time full render quality feedback is available at every stroke.

Select colors from the user palette, the RGB and HLS color selectors or from the user customized Color Models. The use of Color Models will guarantee the whole animation is painted with the production specific colors.

Use Image processing tools to make those final adjustment to a whole range of cels. Operations like Brightness, Contrast, Color Replace are a click away for immediate color corrections.

Artistic artwork can be created on CTP with its pressure sensitive drawing tools. Brush size and opacity can use your graphic's tablet pressure feature idependently or at the same time.

All drawings are made up of independent line and color layers for your convenience. Image processing operations or paint tools can be applied independently to each layer. Image processing operations can also be applied to both layers.

Graphics Board:
